and the first reformed show.. in mp3 format.. for only 20us Wow, just the one listing? COOL! Here's my opportunity to make millions!! And I'll undercut him by $5. AND I'll even offer it in FLAC! C'mon, shop around. You can't beat that. (Yes, of course I'm joking.)

That was pretty good. And out of curiosity, who in their right mind would pay $227.50US to see the Police? ?

I totally get what that guy is saying...and i agree that BC has done the right thing by his fans for so long. I just dont understand all these versions of the album only available at different locations. I think that sucks, but i do agree with that LJ article. Point taken.

yeah, i'm kinda with kerrie, i want as many versions as possible, but different versions for different stores seems a bit wierd.. but i guess its nothing really new.. lots of bands are doing it now-a-days.. and i hope billy keeps these low prices for non residency full on shows

Josh that's old news. So 2 weeks ago... I can't understand why people are so bitter about multiple version releases... buy them or don't buy them. Nobody's forcing you.

Nobody's forcing you. exactly, couldnt have said it better-no ones forcing you,& im sure that it was the record companys idea-i cant picture Billy & Co. sitting around discussing the topic of "lets put out several different versions so we can get rich"-i think some people forget how long we've had to wait for this album & should just be thankful its all going well-chrst i'd by a copy off satan himself if it meant i'd be able to have fresh, new SMASHING PUMPKINS,& I actually like the fact that i have the choice to buy as many different versions possible, when it comes to the pumpkins-money is no object, this new album is priceless.

yeah Foxy, its 4mins of nothing isn't it? ... kinda dissapointing. The title made it sound so heavy and rock ... not the case.

Couldn't be bothered starting a new thread, but we have a new image banner at the top. We are going to try and swap it around every now and then. Hope you like it!

Did anyone else celebrate International Smashing Pumpkins day?
For those that don't know, we always used to make a thread about it on the 07/07/07 - I guess we just didn't have as much to talk about back in those days. I'll mention in in here because there are a few more pressing issues these days!
I listened to some pre gish stuff while driving around the city today, my own little tribute i guess.

We celebrated, always do, I guess its less and less these days. I remember the first International Day in 2001 when they held the first Act IV event and Billy spoke at it ... he said there would be a Metro DVD released someday - hehe. I have the MP3 around the place if anybody wants it.
Happy 070707!
