i dont think you can sign up for early birds anymore i signed up though a few days back. Jimmy, AiC are still great live. saw them at rock am ring 06 and it was a great show. I'll admit it was great when hetfield came out and sang Would?.. but yeah, Duvall can pull off layne pretty well. No sexual pun intended NIN, AiC, blood hound gang (awesome live abnd - again saw them at rock am ring and very entertaining show. and very knowledgable boys about politcs etc during the set). In fucking Flames! wooooo. them at rock am ring was best concert of my life! should be an awesome day! There will be 'sidewaves'.. but last year they were few and far between, in small venues, with about 5 good bands at each one. You;d think it would sell out earlier than last year though, and they can get some bigger sideshows. Now i just ahve to get onto KMW about photo passes

Oh yeah im still totally looking forward to seeing AIC, never thought id get to see those songs played live, and i dont doubt that duvall can pull it off, its more just the decision to keep recording using the AIC name that bothers me, even if they still played old stuff and just changed the name... trivial i know, it just bothers me.
Bloodhound gang should be a laugh, will def watch them if nothing else of importance is on

i was reading yesterday.. might ahve been on their wiki page, about when they started the whol reformation thing, one of them mentioned an interest in recording some shit with Duvall, but under a new name. wonder why they didnt want to.. well.. i guesss the whole AIC being a big draw card would be one thing but yeah...

Didn’t know there were other Morrissey fanbois on here or else would have posted something earlier. Woo. the other talk is that he’s out here for ATP.. but i reckon for festivals are bullshit and it’ll just be headliners. Well.. i hope so

Kinda unrelated to anything.. but for the 2 fanbois out there, Mr Mitchell and Mr Steve, was at the JJJ augie march gig last night, and Mr Dan Kelly was playing with them. My first DK experience Augie March don’t play bad music.. nothing amazing.. but they are some funny dudes between songs made for a great show.

I won them on the email thingy. Didnt get to see much of Dan as we was playing guitar on only the new tracks, and a bit of backing vocals.. classy old school hair cut though apparently him and the non alpha whatever the new band is called males are supporting augie march on their upcoming tour.

Scot, please stop using the phrase "Boi" haha
Yeah DK and the Ukeladies (I think that's their name) are supporting Augie March on tour, he wasinvolved with some of the backing vocals with their new stuff as well.
Dan, it's great your getting out there, but please crank out another album soon, haha.

^ Drunk On Election Night Neil Young hand picked that song to appear on the Living With War - Songs of The Times compilation. i think i might have been listening to an interview DK about that song beeing picked.. and he was all excited, and then he went to the website or whatever, and saw how many songs had been picked.. and it wasnt quite as cool anymore (or something along those lines)

Didn't the Offspring try to do that and then Axel sued them.

i thought the offspring were going for 'chinese democracy.. you snooze you lose' or something like that. I can imagine the lawsuits coming for the metal band aswell if that was case.

Laneway lineup is weird, lots of strange electronic type stuff and much less commercially viable than this year. Apart from hold steady and some of the locals theres nothing thats going to pull a mainstream crowd like feist did. I know thats not what theyre going for, but doubt it will sell out this year.
Will probably still go to check out Stereolab though
