Weather for those planning on lining up - fine and mostly sunny 22.
Much better than earlier reports of rain.

Hi everyone! I am so excited about tomorrow, I have been wanting to see the Pumpkins for such a long time and now that it is finally here it almost doesn't seem real. Anyway the Hordern is a great venue, every time I've been there I've had a great time, sound is generally good, plus it is so small that you can find a good vantage point anywhere. I'd also just like to say that this site is great. Netphoria is the WORST fansite on the internet so it is nice to have finally found a decent Pumpkins forum .

Totally agree with you re Netphoria, its a hellhole of idiots.
Anyway im getting up at 2:15am for a shuttle to the airport (so thats what, 2 or 3 hours in front of you guys?) so Im gonna be screwed by the time the pumpkins finish tomorrow night!
So whats the chances of someone from this loving forum saving me and my sister a spot in the front of the line? We will try to be there before around 4pm and beat the workers. I will be wearing my SP red Heart logo t shirt.

We've been serving the Aussie fans for 6 years this June and shall continue to do so for many more. We're all very excited - I know sunky and I have been having trouble concentrating on work on a day like today! Joshy, you can walk - it's not that far. We walked from the Hordern to our hotel from both Sydney NIN shows in 2005 and it took like 10mins.

Something I just thought about ... should we organise with somebody for SMS updates of the show? For those not coming to Sydney ... ? that way any International fans reading the boards will know whats going on ... and guess what ... around 24hrs to go!

Well... I hope those of you who're going have a fucking awesometacular fantamatasmsmical time. I have no doubts that you're all in store for something special. Hopefully, next time the Pumpkins are here I'll have some money to spare and a bit more independence... unless they somehow end up coming to Tasmania. In fact, I've never been outside Tassie's walls to be quite honest.

whats the best and quickest way to get to the hornern from central station? I work next door, and walk from central every day, up devonshire street, and then across the park, about 20 mins or so or there are plenty of busses from eddy ave exit of central which go to the eastern suburbs

I will be wearing my SP red Heart logo t shirt. there will be two areas for people to line up... with us or behind us to get wuith us you just need an ozphoria wristband but as they were for australians only, it should be fine to come and join us

whats the best and quickest way to get to the hornern from central station? From Central Station, go to the bus stands on EDDY AVENUE (north) Then look for any bus that goes via ANZAC PARADE (as long as its not an 891 or 895 limited service, they dont stop until well past the venue) Then just get off at Centennial Park Should cost about $1.50 for those of you who are students Anyone know if the gig has sold out?
