lol, i must be the only one that loved queens but i thought they were all right. Sound was shit, but Josh was trying to liven up the mood.
Was happy to get close to the front, the pumpkins again were awesome. It was nice to be in the pit even though it did get a bit rough and I ended up humping Vic's back the whole night.
Was nice to meet some of you guys even if it was briefly..though again I let my shyness get the better of me.

Hey guys Nice to meet you guys, after being so inactive on this board. Was great to see the band again, even if they were missing James Most people I've spoken to after the gig were slightly disappointed, obviously a lot of people just wanted the hit singles, but I was pretty happy with the set. Glad that I knew (almost) all the songs. A funny choice of song to end with, there's plenty of more uptempo songs they could have ended with which might have left me feeling better, but it was a great set still. Franklin

My mum saved the review of the SP gig from the Sunday Mail i think it was. It got 3 stars (just to compare, Duran Duran got 3 1/2 stars) and they bagged the gig totally. Nice work Adelaide....didnt ever think it was their shite reaction to the band, it has to be the band that were shit! haha.

Haha yeah i saw that, the headline was 'Pumpkins fail to Disarm Crowd' or something and they made it out to be pretty bad. But Maroon 5 got 2 stars which shows how much they suck.

Spoz (aka the village idiot of the adelaide local music scene) has put his review up. Its currently at the bottom of the page, but if it shifts off look in archives under april 7th: www.spoz.blogspot.com/some photos and vids of united states and i dont mind

This is the first time I've come across this dude who calls himself 'Spoz'. What a sarcastic, self indulgent smart arse. Perhaps he should have stayed home and read a book. I bet he thinks he's better than the rest of us.

Minor correction, its actually now in the April 6th archive... even though the date above the post says april 7... it must just get filed by the start of the week.
And yeah Spoz is an interesting character. He thrives on your distaste for him, it only makes him stronger. Ive discovered that if you rant gibberish at him he goes away... I also wonder why a 32 year old guy has nbothing better to do than go to every single gig ever, take snapshots and write sarcastic, mostly nonsensical garbage around his mystified adventures. Its more of an ongoing vanity project than actual reviews, he considers himself some kind of local celebrity i think, and in a way i guess he is, but in the worst attention whoring way possible...

Does anyone remember the name of that guy who was waiting in line with us from about 3-ish who said he was going to record the whole show? He was from Melbourne & I also bumped into him there, where he was also going to record that show.
Knew I should've got his contact details.

Asking me what he looked like isn't gonna get you much useful info cos i'm crap with those sort of questions. All I can say is he was the guy in Adelaide who was trying to sell off a spare ticket he had. Ticket was originally for his misses. He was wearing a hat & standing on the inside of the barrier, between the two queues, talkin on his phone a bit, while we waited in line. Also, as we got closer to doors opening, if you noticed four of us sitting on the ground, near the doors, he was the one facing the doors (furthest out from the venue). Yeah I know, i'm crap at this. Sorry..
