Next show I'll be at (yes, it's another plug, shoot me) is Creepshow at the Espy: creepshowfestival.com/It's a pretty awesome lineup of Melbourne bands, and everyone's dressing up for halloween etc (which isn't something we really do in australia, so it should be pretty cool)... $20 presales from me or $30 on the door.

We've just sold our U2 tickets. Seriously, after such a great Pumpkins tour, I could care less about seeing them for the spectacle.
We're $200 richer!

Saw Ed Kowalczyk (ex lead singer of +LIVE+) last tuesday night WOW! This was the best concert I have ever been to. It was at the hi fi in brisbane, which only has room for about 500, so it was a very intimate concert. He played a good mix of old live music and his new stuff is amazing. I think a lot of the posters here would really like it, if you don't like his single grace, check out the album anyway because it has some really solid songs on it, and it is also an album, not a collection of singles. Anyway the guy on the stratocaster was awesome and it was a such a wall of sound, the crowd was going off the whole time, he really knows how to get the crowd going. We also got to go back stage for a meet n greet, which was boring basic hello, photo thanks, bye. If you want to see some footage check out www.youtube.com/user/gerrycan70There's also video of metallica in brisbane on here

the new ed kowalkalkdlajxkzyk single sounds like a mix of a greenday song (boulevard of broken dreams), and "what are we fighting for" by live from the album that had "heaven" on it. awful.

Jebs tour is going to be awesome. We've been lucky enough to catch them at their secret gigs in Perth over the past few years while working on the new material. Hands down still play with the energy of a band from 1997. Can't wait to see them in Perth.

Elton John late this year! Missed Michael buble in sydney on valentines day for our anniversary (would have been very romantic) because my grandma died and I had to fly Gold Coast to Sydney to Gold Coast To New Zealand (Christchurch) Drive to Duneidin in the space of 48 hours. Then miss the earthquake by 48 hours and the house I stayed in is rubble now.
Oh and this argument is outdated, but I'm still maintaining that ed's album is solid. Concert was fing amazing But would agree that Birds of pray by live is a horrible album with the sole exception of heaven.

And now Regurgitator are hitting the road again as well. It's turning into nostalgia year.
Tim Rogers is doing some shows around the traps but not coming here which is a bit of a bummer

Seeing Gary Numan tonight ... also Steve, so excited about Regurgitator. We saw them in October last year, was a fun night! Also, Jebs in a few weeks and we have the private gig for our friend Jon that won the comp for a Private Jebs show. Still don't know when it is.

We've been really lucky with gigs this year! Went to see Hugh Cornwell (ex-Stranglers) courtesy of a friend who purchased us tickets for our birthdays, photographer acquaintance put us on the door list for Gary Numan last week, and since Jon won the Jebs contest - we'll be seeing them as part of a private show too.
We do have tickets for the upcoming Perth Jebs show though. Feels like ages ago since I bought them!
Would love to see Regurgitator again because they were awesome last year (Perth date is happening almost a year to the day since we last saw them!), but there's the very exciting matter of seeing Jarvis and co.
