So are we thinking Big DayOut?
In a way I hope yes and no. No because i would prefer small club shows. Yes because I could see them in Perth and then hopefully 2 sideshows, Melbourne and Sydney.

From Billy, 5 hour ago... I'm liking this Australian girlfriend thing. "Just had breakfast with @jessicaveronica : she seems to think we should go to Oz next month AND play more intimate shows! Next month???"

next month would be terrible i cant afford to do anything in the last weeks of the semester! (time wise and money wise)

Next month would suck for us too, work and money wise.
Not trying to get ahead here but it kind of seems likely, they have nothing booked for October.

October works thrillingly well for me. Bring it on!

I know it's selfish but I really hope they don't come out next month. Or if they do, they just to a Melbourne and maybe Sydney club show.
Signs you are getting old, when you'd rather you're favourite band doesn't come out because you'd rather spend money on grown up stuff.

Okay, as much as I'm dreading finding out that I'm going to be shelling out big bucks for this new tour, I can't help feeling excited for tomorrow's news.

Me too ... in a perfect world, we will fly to Sydney and Melbourne ...and hopefully they play Perth too. Vic if you want to do Sydney, you know we are up for being roomies again ... we can hang with that crazy lady who told us about the young people she hated. I checked the Coppel website and got excited when I found this link: www.coppel.com.au/artists/SP/index.html

Oh man, that lady was nuts. She just wanted to tell us about her intense hatred of people, and we just wanted to get the hell out of there so we could go line up.
Ah fuck it, I'm excited. Now I want to have crazy rock and roll adventures with all of you.

That woman also was wondering if we were seeing Keith Urban.
As for 'rock n roll' McDonalds adventures, as I said to Pants last night, we flew over and saw BC on the '05 tour with hardly any money to our name ... this time we can do it again. I fucking love this band, listening to some of the new stuff and new shows I'm freaking excited ... plus I get to hang out with some awesome friends too. Even if it just for 2-3 days I'll be stoked.
Now lets wait.
They have 1 show between September 25th and November 18th, that is in Jakarta on the 8th of October.

Just wondering. Have the veronicas ever been on stage with them before? Could prove to be interesting backup singers. Has to be better then what they had on Leno.

No they haven't and I really hope they don't ... nothing against Billy's girl but I would be worried for the crowds reaction and it could end badly. It isn't their scene.

Now the question is: Will Perth get a proper show? I'm not sure I can afford flights this time around...

i dont wanna start off on a whinge, but... after last times crowd at festival hall and what they're playing in the US, i really thought they go for more intimate shows. kinda disappointed about that there is ZERO chance i can do perth or adelaide (last week of uni) and as i have no chance of getting money beforehand for traveling, i guess i'll be seeing peeps when they come over to melbourne. my only hope is that its michael coppel bringing them out, they're really nice to media! got me front row seats for metallica
