I would be very interested in hearing some audio recordings of this show as well. Was there any video taken of this concert as well?

Here are the MP3's I have been meaning to put up for ages now, sorry everybody. The past few weeks have been insane, my bro got married, our engagement party is this weekend, i have moved house, i now have no internet at home (broadband is 7days away) ... but im doing this at work: Nina X (with band) Mellon Collie ... For Martha The End is the Beginning Is the End Tragic Delicate (guest vocalists) Today Disarm Where Boys Fear to Tread Quiet enjoy. As some of you will already know, the final band, Slunk were not recorded through the soundboard. The soundboard blew up! However we have video footage, we just need to source the audio from that. Unfortunately at the moment, my engagement and unpacking are taking priority. We'll get it up as soon as we can. Hope you enjoy the covers. sunky and pants

heh i'm in that photo too... right at the front. black clothing and white necklace! I was wearing all black because I came straight from an orchestra concert... in uniform so to speak. I had an awesome time... great night!

I have had a chance to listen to the songs, or at least parts of them. I encourage these bands to submit demos for consideration for the Ghost Children 2 tribute album (http://act4.2007.org/) that I mention in the stickyed post above-you can refer to that post or the website I have linked to for further details. As I mention in the other post, we want this to be a international SP fan effort, and to have a band or two from Ozphoria up for consideration for the CD would be great to see. Overall, they sound pretty good . I can totally relate with sound mishaps from helping to organize a couple of SP tribute shows in Chicago a few years ago. Luckily no major soundboard malfunctions in the 2nd concert.

liked the nina x mellon collie solo. need to get the tragic delicate songs - they rocked out on their covers - Where Boys Fear To Tread was a gem. who is the girl in the bottom right of the photo? - black dress and she has a red light on her (i think it's a light... may be a belt) - she was gorgeous. if you happen to be reading this I am tall, handsome, scorpio and enjoy candlelit walks on the beach.

I enjoyed those clips sunky, thank-you. Would have been great to have been there, just to see a live version of a Pumpkins track in the flesh!!! The drummer in Tragic Delicate did an exceptional job. Hat's off to him for being able to capture Jimmy's playing characteristics so well - especially in WBFTT....hell even better than Matt Walker IMO, and as we know, he was bought in as his replacement!!! ;D

The tribute night in Perth, of all places, was such a sweet idea. Any chance of it happening again next year, because I would be more then happy to help and go to it!!!!

Yeah - id definitely be up for another one if it ever goes down.
Maybe adelaide though - cos theres quite a few adleaideanites and its a bit more central for the east and west coast kids

whoa, this was bumped from nowhere. Sure, I've got the other songs, I'll upload them. Its funny looking back at who we had performing on this night. A few of the guys from Tragic Delicate are now in Birds of Tokyo ... we got them before they were famous! We would love to do another tribute night, but might be a year or so off I guess ... and maybe having it in Radelaide may be a good idea ... since it is central for most people.

how did you go about recruiting bands for the night Sunks? would we do an open casting call via forums and such?
is there a date that would co-incide with some sort of pumpkinesque anniversary? could we stretch the legitimacy of the event to co-incide with the release of Watchmen or something dorky?
id love to help audition/recruit bands
