I remember being told the same stuff, the band had all hit the "wall". Remember in the Gracefull Swans of Never doco (I think?! - or was it Full Circle?!?) when Billy, James and Jimmy talk about the touring "crack" they used to joke about ... where after 6-8 weeks people would just "crack" and lose it. Guess the same thing happened ... escpecially for Billy to say "I think I've pushed the band to far, to fast" ... thats a big call to admit and publicly admit you were wrong ... it definately sounds like this doco will show everything that happened, the good, the bad and the ugly ...

For serious?
Wow. Just checked that site. SO awesome. November 7th in Melbourne, at Jam Factory, Southland and Knox. Fucking sweet.
Just called Village Cinemas then, the chick doesn't have any info in her system regarding session times, ticket prices, if it will just be one screening per location or running for a few days etc. She just suggested I call back in a few weeks to check.
I'll be calling every few days. Cos I'm obsessive like that.

8 PM you say?
I was going to see the Drones that night, at pretty much the same time. Good thing they're doing 2 shows in Perth and i haven't bought tickets yet.
Guess i'll see a few of you there.

I'm totally up for a Melbourne meet up @ Jam Factory - I assume this will be the best screening for folks who work in/around the city.

I havent had a look around yet, but from the websites link to the cinema i couldnt see any ticket purchase info - any news? And can i just say how happy it makes me to see Australia included in all this, thanks SP.

No ticketing information yet ... I tried sending an email through to Greater Union but their form isn't working. Im finding out from other "connections" ... ... speaking of, I know this goes without saying but if I can get some promo material each of you based in other cities alright to spread the word? Im thinking of also starting a Facebook event? ... that way we can start promoting it via that. And, this is hilarious. During the week I said to Bree it would be awesome if we could get Margaret and David from the movie show to review it and we both thought 'well unless its in cinema's here, they won't touch it' ... and then this! ... Im so getting in touch with them to review it

I will promote it for sure Simon - and can you imagine how great it would be seeing D&M talking about it! haha, i would hope they would argue about it - as per normal.

It would be my dream. David saying "Oh its nothing with James and D'Arcy" and Margaret saying "But David! Move on the original line up hasn't been together since 1996, apart from the Arising Tour!" ... Also our parents are coming along to the screening ...

I was thinking abiout this for the melbourne kids, about which theatre would be best to go to ,
And... Jam factory while close, is kinda old , I think they have some new VMax cinemas at Southland and knox so the screens may be larger and better sound there, it would mean more travelling for everyone, myself included , but it could possibly be worth it.

Knox is my local cinema and i go there about once a month, it's really not worth the travel time for everyone to haul ass out there. does it even say anywhere that it's being screened in VMax? those are big cinemas, i can't see them giving up one of them on a friday night over a box office hit that would sell out.

Yea I guess that my point was since it was filmed in HD and all would it look better in one of the newer theatres?
