I saw Deja Vu last night with Denzel Val Kilmer and Jim Cavieziel. Crud movie.
Think Enemy of the State crossed with Minority Report, but different actors.

I saw 10000 BC last night.
It was cheesy, cliched, racist, visually spectacular, predictable and thoroughly enjoyable. Conisdering the no-name cast and the amount of CGI, it was probably doomed to failure - it is actually better than you might think, but at the same time, I dont expect you to think too highly of it.
I give it a thumb up!

I saw Battle Royale (the japanese flick) pretty cool despite the frustration of the subtitles. There were a few little changes i wouldve made - but its worth a watch! School kids on a killing spree - good times
Also saw Gia. In the plus column - ANGELINA JOLIE GETS NAKED. ALOT. ANGELINA GETS NAKED IN A LESBIAN SCENE. A FEW TIMES. In the minus column - once miss jolie stops being naked and the movie relys on the story - its not that entertaining.
I also saw Scratch. Its a doco about the ins and outs and history of DJing. A great watch featuring some iconic and kick ass DJ's.
I also saw Knocked Up again. Love that film. The funniest scenes are all involving Seth Rogen's mates. Pinkeye - classic!

I watched Mr Beans Holiday - deliciously delightful. Its so stoopid its funny - not unlike the show itself. Willem Dafoe is pretty funny in it!

IRON MAN!
If youve ever seen a comic book movie and thought 'yeah that was pretty good' go and see Iron Man. Fan-freakin-tastic!!!!
ps - If youve ever read a marvel comic and know a little about the universe - stay til right after the credits! You shan't regret it!!!

I didnt think that Iron Man looked that good from the trailer, but the movie was fantastic. I agree with Todd, though now i am sad we didnt stay until the end of the credits.

My housemate got a PS3. We wanted to test out the Blu Ray capabilities. We went to the video rental shop (is 'Video' a redundant term now days?) and tried to get something we hadnt seen, wasnt a romantic comedy, and still had someting to tantilise our HD needs. We got Apocalptica.
Quite a damn good flick. All in subtitles mind you - but a pretty cool story. Its kinda a cross between Gladiator (for pseudo-historical recreationism) and Passion of the Christ (as far as completely original dialects)

I saw Iron man on Monday, we pretty enjoyable. I'm not a huge fan of the marvel comic scene but it was a very entertaining story. I stayed back after the credits too.

We bought and watched 'Clubland' which some of you may have heard of. Jessy's uncle, Keith Thompson, wrote it, and her aunty, Kaye Bendle, was a script advisor. It was ok, good for what it was, but if any of you know that plot (aging cabaret performer and her family in suburban australia) know that its not really our kind of thing. But it was selected for Sundance, so it did pretty well for itself.

i saw What Happens In Vegas tonight, i was surprised at how funny it was. if it wasn't for the supporting actors it wouldn't have been as good, those two made the whole movie. it started out really predictable but once it got underway it really funny
